Hey, I was young and this sounded great. I said," Sure, what time is the party and where is it at?"

Mike scribbled out the directions and he told me, “The party starts at 8 pm and doesn't end ‘til most of the people leave."

Well, at 8 that night I pulled up to this ramshackle old farmhouse at the end of this dirt road. The music blasting out of the house was Lynyrd Skynyrd and the song that was playing was "Oh That Smell". Mike was standing on the porch and he saw me and said," John I see you found the party why don't you go in and get a brewski." I went in and this one guy I was acquainted with named Paul said," I bet you want a beer, go into the kitchen and you will see about 8 coolers."

I went into the kitchen and I saw the coolers, they looked like they would hold about a case of beer a piece. I reached in and grabbed a very cold Budweiser. The party was a mixed crowd of guys and girls. Hey, at the time I didn't think I could get attracted to men. After I got a Bud and lit a smoke I slowly made my way back out to the porch after stopping and chatting to different people. I made it back out to the front porch because it was hot inside. I saw Mike he grinned at me. Mike said," This party can get wild and if you want to try something go ahead and try it and it will stay safely here. Like what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas."

I asked him," Like what happens here?"

He just winked and said," Just you wait and you’ll find out soon enough.”
