British-born boy toy Christian Bale began his career as a child actor, starring in the 1987 Steven Spielberg flick Empire of the Sun before putting on a floppy hat for the 1992 Disney musical Newsies. Seven years later, Christian was all grown up and made us grow out with his performance as hard-bodied and frequently shirtless serial killer Patrick Bateman in American Psycho.
